Metropolitan State University (MSU Denver) is seeking applicants for a full-time, tenured/tenure-track faculty appointment in its BSSW Program. This is an in-person faculty position starting Fall 2027. MSU Denver offers a robust mentoring program for tenure-track faculty, including enrollment in the Roadrunner Faculty Academy during the first year to support new faculty in navigating academic life. Hired individuals are eligible to apply for internal Hispanic Serving Institution (HSI) Faculty Fellowship positions, which may provide teaching release time to advance the department's mission and support MSU Denver's HSI commitment. Fellows also participate in a structured mentorship program for long-term success in teaching, scholarship, service, and academic leadership. HSI fellowship applicants should demonstrate a strong commitment to supporting Spanish-speaking communities and advancing educational equity for historically underserved populations through their teaching, practice, research, or community-engaged experience. The department particularly values candidates with bicultural perspectives, experience working across cultural contexts, and the ability to foster meaningful engagement with Hispanic/Latine students, families, and communities. Bilingual proficiency in Spanish and English is highly desirable.
