About The Position

Alvernia University's College of Humanities, Education and Social Sciences invites applicants for a full-time Social Work Faculty appointment beginning August 17, 2026. Candidates must hold MSW from an accredited program and a doctorate in social work or related field. Alvernia has a bold approach to becoming a 21st century, modern regional university. Requirements

  • MSW from an accredited program
  • Doctorate in social work or related field
  • Excellence in online teaching using multiple pedagogical approaches
  • Defined area of scholarly interest
  • Two years post MSW clinical experience
