The School of Nursing at West Chester University (WCU) is seeking a Full-time, 9-month, Tenure-Track, Assistant Professor of Psychiatric-Mental Health Nursing. This position is primarily focused on undergraduate prelicensure nursing programs, specifically in psychiatric-mental health and behavioral health nursing education. The role involves contributing to curriculum design, implementation, and improvement, collaborating with faculty and external partners, and maintaining a scholarly agenda. The successful candidate will teach twelve credits per semester, including didactic and clinical instruction, and prepare students in areas such as therapeutic communication, clinical judgment, and evidence-based practice.
