The Department of Political Science in the Fulbright College of Arts and Sciences at the University of Arkansas invites applications for a tenure-track assistant professor position in public administration, public policy, and nonprofit studies, beginning in August 2027. This is a standard nine-month faculty appointment. The successful candidate will serve as a core faculty member in the Master of Public Administration and Nonprofit Studies (MPA) program. The department’s standard teaching load is two courses per semester, for a total of four courses per academic year. The successful candidate will be expected to teach graduate courses that support the MPA program and introductory level undergraduate courses. This is an in-person position. Regular, reliable, and non-disruptive attendance is an essential job duty, as is the ability to create and maintain collegial, harmonious working relationships with others.
