About The Position

The Mechanical and Industrial Engineering department seeks three full-time, tenure-track Assistant Professors in Mechanical Engineering. This is a full-time, benefit-eligible position with a 9-month academic appointment. Salary for these positions start at $76,000, commensurate with experience and qualifications. Requirements

PhD in Mechanical, Aerospace Engineering, Biomedical Engineering or a closely related field, earned by the start date of position.
Demonstrated ability to utilize pedagogies that are proven to increase students’ engagement and retention.
Excellent oral and written communication skills.
Record of professional development, or willingness to develop in areas related to teaching, research, or scholarly work.
