This is a tenure-track, 12-month position at the rank of Assistant Professor with an approximate appointment of 70% research and 30% teaching at the University of Arkansas at Monticello (UAM). The successful candidate will establish an innovative, dynamic, nationally-recognized research program in forest ecohydrology, develop grant proposals, secure funding, and publish in peer-reviewed scientific journals. They will also recruit and mentor graduate students and serve as an advisor for undergraduate students. The role involves coordinating or contributing to cooperative research efforts with faculty and other regional stakeholders. Teaching duties will include undergraduate and potentially graduate courses in watershed management and related subjects.
