The School of Education invites applications for an 10-month tenure-track faculty position at the level of Assistant Professor, beginning August 2026. Applicants with expertise in literacy and reading education, teacher education, clinical experiences, curriculum development, and online pedagogy are encouraged to apply. We seek an emerging scholar with knowledge and expertise in the science of reading, literacy development and assessment, and culturally and linguistically responsive literacy instruction. Faculty in the School of Education are required to effectively teach graduate and undergraduate courses, conduct scholarly activities, advise students, and contribute service to their discipline, the School, the University, and the community. The School of Education prepares quality educators and innovative leaders for elementary, secondary, and post-secondary positions. The School also offers online programs preparing professionals for leadership positions at the master’s and doctoral levels.
