This is a tenure-track faculty position with expectations for teaching on-campus full-time during the academic year. The responsibilities associated with this position include: teaching undergraduate and graduate courses in the areas of food and nutrition; engaging in research and scholarship activities; and engaging in service to the department, university and profession. The Food and Nutrition program is part of the School of Health Sciences and Wellness (SHSW) which has over 1400 students and offers 6 undergraduate majors, 7 graduate degree programs, and several certificate programs. The Assistant Professor of Food and Nutrition is a full-time, salaried, exempt, academic year (9-month), faculty position.
