About The Position

Middle Georgia State University is seeking a candidate for the position of tenure track Assistant Professor of Biology for the School of Health and Natural Sciences in the Department of Natural Sciences to begin fall 2026. This position involves teaching, scholarship, and service. Teaching responsibilities may include day and/or evening, lower level and/ or upper-level biology courses. Travel from Macon campus to another campus (Warner Robins) will be required.

Requirements

  • PhD degree in Biology or related field with special attention given to the following areas of expertise: microbiology or organismal biology.
