About The Position
The Department of Anesthesiology at the University of Virginia School of Medicine seeks applications for a full-time position of Assistant Professor of Anesthesiology. This is an exempt-level, benefited position located in Charlottesville, VA. Salary will be commensurate with education and experience. This position will not provide consideration for candidates who require sponsorship at this time or in the future. The University will perform background checks on all new hires prior to employment.
Requirements
- Medical Doctorate or equivalent degree; completion of an Anesthesiology Residency Program.
- A valid medical license; American Board of Anesthesiology Certified or certification eligible.
Responsibilities
- Teach Anesthesiology courses to fellows, residents, and medical students
- Provide clinical care and medical supervision of residents and Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetists (CRNAs).
- Conduct Research
- Additional duties as assigned.
