About The Position

The School of Business at Indiana University Kokomo is seeking to hire a full-time, 10-month Assistant Professor of Accounting. This position begins in Spring/Fall 2027. The Assistant Professor will teach undergraduate and graduate accounting courses in various formats (in-person, hybrid, and online), conduct research, and engage in service activities at multiple levels. The role is crucial in upholding the institution's academic standards and meeting AACSB accreditation requirements. Indiana University Kokomo is one of eight campuses within the Indiana University system, located in Kokomo, Indiana, approximately 50 miles north of Indianapolis. The campus is dedicated to student success and serves around 3,230 students, offering Associate, baccalaureate, and master’s degrees. Requirements

• Ph.D. or equivalent in Accounting or a related field is required for tenure-track positions.
• Demonstrated potential for excellence in teaching at the university level.
• Demonstrated potential for scholarly research and publication in accounting.
• Commitment to service activities.
