About The Position

The Department of History at the University of South Florida seeks to fill a full-time, tenure-earning Assistant Professor position in Modern U.S. History. We welcome applications from those with specializations in transnational migration, diasporic communities or ethnic studies. The position is on a 9-month contract with a start date of August 7, 2027. Salary is negotiable. Requirements

PhD in History from an accredited institution is required and must be conferred by the start date.
Must meet university criteria for appointment to the rank of Assistant Professor.

Responsibilities
