About The Position

Saint Louis University (SLU), a prestigious Catholic university founded in 1818, is seeking to fill seven (7) full-time, non-tenure track Assistant Professor positions in Information Systems within the School for Professional Studies (SPS). SLU is recognized for its world-class academics, research, and commitment to faith and service. The School for Professional Studies offers accessible education in the Jesuit tradition, focusing on student-centered, innovative, and enterprising learning environments. While most programs are online, on-campus courses are also available. These positions are primarily teaching-focused, with no research expectations. Faculty will teach up to eight graduate-level courses in both online and on-campus modalities. Additional responsibilities include service to the program, the school, and the university, as assigned by the Director of Information Systems in consultation with the Associate Dean of Academic Affairs.

Requirements

Ph.D. in Information Systems, Computer Science, or a closely related discipline.
Master's degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, or a closely related discipline with extensive industry experience and certifications will be considered.
Ability to teach graduate-level courses in both online and on-campus modalities.

Responsibilities

Teach up to eight graduate-level courses across two modalities: online and on-campus.
Provide service to the program, the School for Professional Studies, and Saint Louis University as assigned.
Promote a student-centered, innovative, and enterprising environment built on a foundation of integrity, accountability, and collaboration.
