The Assistant Professor of Oral Health Workforce Development is a part-time faculty position for The Center for Rural Oral Health Research and Community Engagement within the Division of Population Oral Health at the James B. Edwards College of Dental Medicine. The faculty member supports educational and workforce development initiatives designed to strengthen the oral health workforce and improve access to care in underserved communities through teaching, curriculum development, student mentorship, and program administration. Working collaboratively with faculty and program leadership, the Assistant Professor contributes to the Community Dental Health Coordinator (CDHC) Program and the development and implementation of the Bachelor of Science in Dental Hygiene Degree Completion Program. The faculty member also provides instruction within Division of Population Oral Health courses and participates in program evaluation, academic service, and workforce development activities consistent with the mission of the College and Center.
