This position is within the Department of Medicine, Division of Cardiology, specializing in Cardiac Critical Care at Emory Heart & Vascular. The proposed academic appointment is Assistant Professor. The role is a full-time equivalent (FTE) of 1.0, primarily based at Emory University Hospital (EUH) with privileges at Emory University Hospital Midtown (EUHM).
Requirements

- Position tasks are required to be performed in-person at an Emory University location; working remote is not an option.
Responsibilities
- Serve as the attending physician in the CICU for 22 weeks per year.
- Conduct 2 clinical sessions per week when not serving as the CICU attending, divided between outpatient clinic at EUH and interpretation of Echocardiograms & TEEs.
- Clinical duties are subject to change at the discretion of Emory Heart & Vascular Executive Director as dictated by operational and strategic needs of the service line.
