Assistant Professor - CT Surgery
About The Position
The Department of Surgery, Division of Cardiothoracic Surgery, is looking for an Assistant or Associate Professor Faculty member who has completed a doctorate level degree in an engineering discipline. The ideal candidate would have completed a post doctorate position(s) in an engineering program with emphasis on cardiothoracic innovations. Specifically, the ideal candidate would join current Emory cardiothoracic surgeons in developing novel treatments & devices to improve outcomes for aortic surgeries. The candidate would be responsible for routing 2-3 proposals annually in partnership with current faculty to obtain independent funding by year 3. NOTE: Position tasks are generally required to be performed in-person at an Emory University location. Remote work from home day options may be granted at department discretion. Emory reserves the right to change remote work status with notice to employee.
Requirements
- Doctorate level degree in an engineering discipline.
