About The Position
Eastern Connecticut State University is seeking a qualified candidate to fill the One Year Assistant Professor – Chemistry position. This position provides instruction in courses required for students majoring in Biochemistry, Biology, Environmental Earth Science, Health Sciences and Nursing. Teaching responsibilities will include 12 load credits per semester teaching lecture and lab courses in general chemistry. Applicants must submit evidence of quality undergraduate teaching.
Requirements
- PhD in Chemistry is required.
- Strong commitment to undergraduate teaching.
- Experience teaching General Chemistry Lectures and Laboratories.
- Ability to instruct other advanced chemistry courses.
Nice To Haves
- Experience with STEM education preferred.
