Assistant Professor – Biological Chemistry
About The Position
The Department of Chemistry at the University of Massachusetts Amherst invites applications for a full-time, academic year, tenure-track faculty member to develop or continue a vigorous research program in Experimental Biological Chemistry. Applications are particularly encouraged in Macromolecular Structure and Function using NMR. The successful candidate will join a vibrant, collaborative and interdisciplinary biological chemistry and structural biology community at UMass Amherst. The candidate may choose to join the Molecular and Cell Biology Interdisciplinary Graduate Training Program, the Institute for Applied Life Sciences and the Biotechnology Training Program or the Chemistry Biology Interface Training Program.
Requirements
- Ph.D. degree or equivalent in Chemistry or a related field.
- Relevant post-doctoral experience.
- Talented applicants qualified for Assistant Professor positions.
Nice To Haves
