About The Position
The Division of Pulmonary, Allergy, and Critical Care Medicine at the University of Colorado Anschutz Medical Campus is seeking applicants for a full-time Interventional Pulmonologist (IP) at the Associate or Professor level to lead the Interventional Pulmonary Program. The role involves directing and growing the program, performing interventional pulmonology procedures, providing clinical consultations, educating medical students, residents, and fellows, and engaging in the academic mission of the division and department. Requirements
- An MD or DO is required
- Candidates should be board certified or board eligible in Pulmonary Disease, Critical Care Medicine, Interventional Pulmonology, and have completed an Interventional Pulmonology Fellowship
- Scholarly and academic record consistent with appointment at the Assistant Professor level in the School of Medicine (for Assistant Professor)
- Two – four years experience (for Assistant Professor)
- Current or past faculty appointment as Assistant or Associate Professor; minimum 4+ years experience (for Associate Professor)
- Scholarly and academic record consistent with appointment at the Associate Professor level in the School of Medicine (for Associate Professor)
- Current or past faculty position appointment as Associate Professor or Professor; 7+ years experience (for Professor)
- Scholarly and academic record consistent with appointment at the Professor level in the School of Medicine (for Professor)

Responsibilities
- Directing and growing the Interventional Pulmonary program at CU
- Procedural responsibilities within the area of interventional pulmonology.
- Clinical inpatient and outpatient consultations
- Participate in the education of medical students, residents, fellows, and other learners
- Engage in the academic mission of the Pulmonary and Critical Care Division, the Center for Lungs and Breathing and the Department of Medicine
