The Department of Educational Leadership, Policy and Technology Studies at The University of Alabama invites applications for an Assistant or Associate Professor of Instructional Technology, preferably a scholar whose research and teaching focus on the educational applications of artificial intelligence in teaching, learning, instructional design, and educational research. The Department of Educational Leadership, Policy, and Technology Studies houses a flourishing instructional technology program that offers an on-campus and an online Doctor of Philosophy in Instructional Leadership with a concentration in Instructional Technology, an online Master of Arts in Instructional Technology, an Instructional Technology Graduate Certificate and an Instructional Design and Technology Certificate at the Masters level. The program also provides service courses to multiple programs through its undergraduate offerings. A successful candidate will join five active research and teaching faculty as well as a vibrant student community.
