Assistant Professor/Associate Professor Mathematics (0083172 / 0082036)
About The Position
The University of Hawai’i at Manoa Mathematics Department invites applications for two permanent, full-time, nine-month tenure-track positions: one at the Assistant Professor level and one at the Assistant or Associate Professor level. The positions are expected to begin August 1, 2027, subject to position clearance and availability of funds. Applicants from all areas of mathematics are encouraged to apply. Special consideration will be given to research aligned with departmental needs, including geometry/topology, probability/statistics, and applied mathematics/modeling.
Requirements
- Ph.D. in mathematics or a related field from a college or university of recognized standing.
- Demonstrated research and scholarly achievement.
- Demonstrated ability as a teacher.
- Professionalism in meeting and conferring with others.
