About The Position

The University of Tennessee Health Science Center, College of Medicine-Chattanooga, is seeking a full-time, non-tenured Assistant Professor and Program Director. The Director of Vascular Surgery Fellowship at UT Health Science Center-COM Chattanooga ensures educational requirements of the ACGME-accredited Vascular Surgery Fellowship Program are met. This includes ensuring fellows are board eligible upon completion of the 2-year fellowship and meet all ACGME requirements for program completion. The role also involves meeting the expectations of the affiliated clinical partner for clinical duties, ensuring required direct and indirect supervision of fellow patient care in accordance with ACGME and regulatory requirements, and ensuring appropriate resources are available to lead fellows in required scholarly activity expectations.

Requirements

MD or DO Degree
American College of Surgeons Board certification or equivalent
Active TN Medical License

Nice To Haves

Three (3) years of clinical/administrative experience post-Vascular Surgery fellowship completion.
Medical Education experience is preferred.
