About The Position

Cinnaminson Township Public Schools is seeking a highly motivated, student-centered educational leader to serve as an Assistant Principal in a long-term leave replacement position. The Assistant Principal will serve as a member of the school administrative team and work collaboratively with the Principal to support the academic, social, and emotional success of all students. The successful candidate will serve as an instructional leader, support the school's daily operations, oversee student discipline, supervise staff, and communicate effectively with students, families, staff, and the community.

Requirements

Valid New Jersey Principal Certificate required.
Minimum of five years of successful teaching experience.
Demonstrated instructional leadership and ability to support student achievement.
Knowledge of student discipline, school climate, and student support practices.
Strong leadership, organizational, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Ability to establish positive relationships with students, staff, families, and community members.
Ability to work collaboratively as a member of an administrative team.
All persons employed in a school district setting must submit to and successfully complete a criminal history background review.

Previous administrative or school leadership experience preferred.

Responsibilities

Assist the Principal with the school's daily leadership and operations.
Serve as an instructional leader and support effective teaching, learning, and student achievement.
Supervise and evaluate instructional and support staff as assigned.
Manage student discipline and promote a positive, safe, and inclusive school climate.
Support initiatives related to student attendance, behavior, academic performance, and student well-being.
Work collaboratively with teachers, counselors, Child Study Team members, and other support personnel to address student needs.
Communicate effectively with students, parents/guardians, faculty, staff, administrators, and community members.
Assist with school safety, security, emergency preparedness, arrival/dismissal, and student supervision.
Supervise athletic events, extracurricular activities, and other school events as assigned, including responsibilities outside the regular school day.
Assist with the implementation of Board of Education policies, administrative procedures, and applicable state and federal regulations.
Participate in administrative meetings, professional development, school improvement initiatives, and district committees as assigned.
Perform other duties as assigned by the Principal and/or Superintendent.
