About The Position

The Assistant Principal is responsible for assisting the Principal in the overall administration and supervision of the campus, including instructional leadership, student management, staff supervision, and operational efficiency. This role supports the Principal in creating a positive and effective learning environment for all students.

Requirements

  • Master's degree in Educational Leadership or related field.
  • Valid Texas Principal Certificate or Mid-Management Administrator Certificate.
  • Minimum of 3 years of successful teaching experience.
  • Demonstrated leadership experience.
  • Knowledge of curriculum, instruction, and assessment.
  • Strong communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience as an assistant principal or in a similar administrative role.
  • Experience with student information systems.
  • Bilingual proficiency (English/Spanish).

Responsibilities

  • Assist the Principal in the daily operations of the campus.
  • Provide instructional leadership and support to teachers.
  • Oversee student discipline and ensure a safe and orderly school environment.
  • Supervise and evaluate campus staff as assigned.
  • Collaborate with parents and the community to support student success.
  • Assist in the development and implementation of campus improvement plans.
  • Manage campus resources and budget as directed.
