Assistant Principals at AMS are crucial instructional leaders responsible for developing teachers, strengthening classroom instruction, and ensuring an exceptional educational experience for students. The Assistant Principal at AMS Camelback holds a critical leadership role in fostering academic achievement and maintaining a structured, achievement-oriented school culture. This position primarily focuses on instructional coaching, teacher development, and data-driven academic improvement for K–8 classrooms. The Assistant Principal collaborates closely with the Principal and the instructional leadership team to enhance teaching practices, analyze student performance data, and ensure high-quality instruction aligns with AMS academic standards. The ideal candidate will be a strong instructional leader with prior K–8 core academic teaching experience in a Title I environment, coupled with proven success in teacher leadership, instructional coaching, and classroom supervision.
