Owensboro Catholic Schools is seeking applicants for the position of Assistant Principal at the Owensboro Catholic K-3 Campus. The ideal candidate will be a practicing Catholic in good standing with the Church and hold a Rank I certification with a principal endorsement preferred or demonstrate a commitment to pursuing leadership certification hours. Candidates should possess a minimum of five years of teaching experience, with administrative experience preferred. The Assistant Principal will support teachers through the development of behavior plans and classroom interventions, coordinate student academic support plans, oversee standardized testing processes, and provide academic assistance to students in need. Additional responsibilities include assisting with curriculum decisions and classroom observations, mentoring new faculty members, and supporting the principal in the daily operation of the school. This position requires strong interpersonal, organizational, and communication skills, as well as the ability to work collaboratively with administration, staff, students, and parents.
