About The Position

Join Montessori Children's House-Central Park as an Assistant Primary Teacher! We offer a supportive environment with resources to create a positive learning space. As an Assistant Teacher, you will help implement age-appropriate curriculum, prepare learning materials, and supervise children during all activities, including meals and naptime, to ensure safety. Requirements

High School Diploma or GED
Experience in Early Childhood Education in a certified child development center
Prior experience with toddler and pre-school students
Ability to use standard office equipment such as a laptop computer and tablet
Strong collaboration and communication skills are required
Patience, a nurturing attitude, and a sincere interest in the well-being and development of young learners are essential to this position.

Nice To Haves

CDA/ECT certification preferred

Responsibilities

Assist with the implementation of age-appropriate curriculum
Prepare and organize learning materials
Supervise children during all activities, including meals and naptime, to ensure a safe and positive learning environment
Help lead innovative learning activities that promote children’s development and growth
Ensure the safety and well-being of children at all times
Monitor children’s progress and development
