About The Position

To plan, organize and implement an age-appropriate instructional program in a play-based learning environment. Work is performed under the supervision of the Director. Support the mission, vision, and goals of Liberty Kids. Promote and adhere to Liberty Kids policies and procedures. Invest in the preschooler’s well-being, health, and safety physically/socially/emotionally for ultimate academic excellence. Create a learning environment that is engaging and conducive to effective instruction; maintain standards of scholar behavior. Plan, prepare, and deliver lessons and instructional materials that facilitate active learning. Provide direct instruction using a traditional curriculum. Instruct and monitor scholars in the use of learning materials and equipment. Observe and evaluate scholars’ performance and development. Other duties as assigned.

Requirements

• High School Diploma
• Must be 18 years old
• Infant/Toddler CPR and First Aid Certified
• Successfully pass a Childcare Registry Background Check
• Excellent communication and organization skills.
• Professional and friendly disposition
• Proficient with computers and software applications including Microsoft Office tools and Google Suite.

Nice To Haves

• 6 months childcare experience preferred
