About The Position
Brasfield & Gorrie is a top Design Build Construction Company and is looking for an Assistant Preconstruction Manager - Estimator to join their Jacksonville Office.
Requirements
- Bachelor degree in construction, engineering, or related field; Or acceptable construction experience
- 2-5 years of construction experience
- 5 years of experience managing progressively larger and more complex estimates/teams
- Proven experience delivering successful results at Senior Estimator level
- Understanding of all aspects of preconstruction
- Proven leadership ability with particular focus on mentoring, training, and motivating teams
- Ability to develop and maintain key long-term relationships (clients, subcontractors, partners, etc.)
- Excellent oral communication and interpersonal skills
- Technical writing skills
- Conflict resolution skills and experience with successfully resolving disputes
- Ability to multitask and prioritize resources
- Superior organizational skills
- Self-perform production knowledge
- Construction scheduling experience
- Quantity survey experience
- Proficient knowledge of estimating software
Responsibilities
- Managing progressively larger and more complex estimates/teams
- Delivering successful results at Senior Estimator level
- Developing and maintaining key long-term relationships (clients, subcontractors, partners, etc.)
- Representing company with industry and community organizations
