Assistant Practice of Clinical Practice, Radiology Services
About The Position
This role is responsible for providing direct patient care, performing interventional radiology procedures. The successful candidate will interpret neuroradiology studies, perform minor procedures, teach residents, and participate in shared on-call responsibilities across multiple campuses. The position also involves advancing clinical knowledge through scholarly and research efforts, including basic or clinical research and publication of scientific articles. Leadership in program development, participation in departmental and community organizations, and maintaining professional credentials are also key aspects of this role.
Requirements
- MD, DO, or Foreign Equivalent in Medical Sciences
- Completed an ACGME approved residency training program or international equivalent in diagnostic radiology
- Completed a vascular and interventional radiology residency
- ABR Board Certified or Board Eligible in Radiology
- Texas Medical License without restrictions or eligible to obtain

- 12 month internship
- 48 months integrated diagnostic & Interventional Radiology residency
- Employer will accept ABR alternate pathway with 84 months of training for international medical graduates (12 month internship, 48 months integrated diagnostic & Interventional Radiology residency, and 24 months of vascular and interventional residency training)
Responsibilities

- Demonstrate competency in the scholarship of application by participating in departmental, school, university and professional or community organizations
- Maintain current professional credentials as appropriate
