Assistant Practice Manager
About The Position
Sentara Medical Group is currently seeking an Assistant Practice Manager. This role assumes responsibility, leadership, and accountability for daily operations. The Assistant Practice Manager will coordinate work monitoring for quality of service, support employees with solutions for everyday operational needs, manage multiple projects, and perform work assignments as needed. This position acts as lead during the Practice Manager’s absence, provides supervision and work assignments to staff based on practice needs, and offers guidance regarding employee relations and staffing issues. The role also processes time to ensure the success of the practice and management by providing overall support.
Requirements
- 3 years of clerical experience
- Previous management experience
- High School Diploma

- Clinical experience and leadership experience in ambulatory care environment preferred.
