The Onsite Assistant Portfolio Manager will build lasting relationships with residents, vendors, and owners, optimize property performance through managing schedules and fieldwork, and contribute to marketing efforts by creating ads and managing leads. Requirements

  • Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
  • Bilingual (Spanish/English)
  • Familiarity with Microsoft Office and other basic office technology
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Experience in customer management and relationship development

  • Must have weekend availability and flexibility during the week. (Saturdays will be required).

Responsibilities

  • Promote and continuously reinforce the Atlas Culture and Values: Purpose First > Uplifting Humanity Through Real Estate, Good for You, Good for Me, Good for Everything, In Community, Make it Memorable, Simple, Empowered, Accountable.
  • Provide field support for Portfolio Managers, including building and maintaining positive relationships with residents, vendors, owners, and coworkers.
  • Build and maintain a schedule for showings, inspections, seasonal and regular maintenance, lease and renewal dates, move-outs, etc.
  • Conduct field work, including setting up lockboxes, code boxes, and exterior inspection of properties.
  • Utilize high-touch communication methods, such as phone calls, texts, and email.
  • Drive to the properties in the portfolio to complete tasks (approximately 20 hours/week).
  • Create marketing advertisements, utilizing Facebook, and other programs to generate lead flow.
  • Handle lead response and showings, open houses, collecting property feedback from leads, and providing that to the property manager.
  • Work with a team and different departments to complete tasks.
  • Attend daily check-ins with the Portfolio Manager for daily tasks.
  • Use AppFolio to update correct property information and pull reports.
  • Learn and uphold Atlas best practices, including truthfulness, doing the right thing, understanding and complying with applicable law and Atlas policies, using good judgment, treating every person with dignity and respect, seeking guidance when questions arise, intervening to prevent violations, and raising concerns to leadership.
