Requirements
- Diesel engine repair: 1 year (Preferred)
- Mechanical knowledge: 1 year (Preferred)
- Willingness to travel and spend time out of town on repairs as needed
- Valid Driver License
- Valid TWIC Card
- Must have a Satisfactory Background Check
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work well in a team
- Physical fitness and the ability to handle the demands of working on a vessel
- Subject to Random Drug Screening
Responsibilities
- Engine Expertise: Maintain and repair Cummins, Caterpillar, John Deere engines as well as outboard motor experience
- Systems Knowledge: Handling low voltage electrical systems, pneumatic air systems, hydraulic systems, and plumbing systems efficiently.
- Welding and Cutting
- Safety and Environmental Protection: Uphold crew safety, vessel safety, and environmental protection standards.
- Machinery Maintenance: Perform maintenance and repair of all vessel machinery, equipment, and structural components within engineering spaces.
