Assistant Plant Supervisor
About The Position
This role involves assisting in the supervision of operations, maintenance, and repair of gas processing plant(s). The goal is to achieve optimal processing within safety, environmental, and economic guidelines, while also maintaining and optimizing the economic utilization of manpower and equipment. The position requires supervising daily plant operations to meet product requirements and monitoring operating data to minimize downtime. Ensuring environmental and safety standards are maintained is crucial, as is assisting in all emergency response activities and decisions related to plant safety. The role also includes supervising subordinates in performing their job duties safely and efficiently, ensuring all departmental manuals are kept current, and serving as a resource for troubleshooting plant operations issues and problem-solving. Compliance with safety, environmental, and company guidelines and policies is mandatory. A key responsibility is ensuring compliance with PSM regulations and related company guidelines, which includes owning the ongoing development, update, and approval of Plant Operating Procedures, the Operator Training Program for Plant Operators, and the MOC/PSSR process for facility modifications. Other duties as assigned.
Requirements
- High school Diploma or equivalent required
- 5-8+ years of industry experience required
- Ability to work with minimal supervision
- Basic computer skills with emphasis on Microsoft Office
- Understanding of plant liquids, liquid stabilizer and stabilized product
- Maintains regular & reliable attendance
- Occasional between locations will be required
- Valid driver's license
Responsibilities
