About The Position

Directs the flow of information for sales activities and transactions (leads, billings, orders, contracts). Plans production to ensure that all customer orders are covered. Owns order fulfillment and line efficiency for a poultry production plant. Creates a production schedule for the poultry production plant twice daily, ensuring customer needs are met relative to operational capabilities. Conducts daily meetings with sales and operations to review the schedule and inventory. Updates the sales forecast with accurate estimations for bird weight and head kill. Works closely with operations during the day to ensure schedule adherence and order fulfillment. Reconciles inventory on a daily basis to ensure no waste or spoilage. Advises the sales team on available to sell volumes. Prioritizes key and strategic customers. Works with 6 partner plants to aid in order fulfillment. Spends time on the operational floor to understand the process flow of the plant.

Requirements

  • Bachelor Degree or similar field preferred. Experience may be considered in lieu of educational requirement
  • 2-5 years of directly related experience preferred
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office
  • Excellent organizational skills and ability to multi-task
  • Thorough understanding of poultry industry and bird cutouts
  • Intermediate skills for Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook
  • Problem solve/root cause analysis
  • Strong communication and leadership skills, both written and verbal
  • Quick learner of Company protocols/programs and adaptable to change
  • Solid math and analytical abilities for problem-solving and decision-making
  • Reliable and ethical, with a strong work ethic and punctuality
  • Team-oriented and self-motivated, able to thrive in fast-paced environments

  • Knowledge of SAP a plus
