About The Position

Assist with the management of the financial affairs for all health plans. In this Assistant Plan Controller role, you will: Assist with the preparation of monthly financial analyses of operations for guidance of management. Assist with the preparation of reports which outline the company’s financial position in areas of income, expenses, and earnings, based on past, present and future earnings. Assist with the preparation of statutory reports. Assist with the monitoring of business processes and systems to assure integrity in health plan financial reports and information and in systems of internal accounting control in compliance with GAAP and/or SSAP and Company policies and standards. Assist in the arrangement of audits of the health plan’s accounts. Provide financial and business analysis as required. Convey health plan needs to the appropriate parties for coordinated action. Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance
  • 4+ years of accounting or finance experience, preferably in public accounting or healthcare industry
  • Advanced Excel skills are required, including XLOOKUPs, PivotTables, large data set analysis, and account reconciliations
  • Experience using Power Query and Power Automate
