Assistant Pharmacy Manager - Florence, KY

About The Position

At Publix Pharmacy, we’re redefining what pharmacy leadership looks like. As an employee‑owned company with a strong promote‑from‑within culture, we’ve built a pharmacy model that blends clinical practice, modern technology, and sustainable leadership development. Our pharmacies are supported by Central Fill and workflow innovations that reduce dispensing burden and allow pharmacists to spend more time where it matters most — with patients. This environment gives emerging leaders the opportunity to grow clinically and professionally while maintaining balance. The Assistant Pharmacy Manager role at Publix is designed for pharmacists who want to expand their clinical impact while developing leadership skills. You’ll support pharmacy operations and mentor teams, while continuing to deliver patient‑focused care through MTM, immunizations, and wellness services. You’ll work full-day shifts in a predictable schedule and gain hands‑on leadership experience in a setting where advancement is driven by capability and initiative — not tenure. Many of our current pharmacy leaders, including supervisors and executives, began in similar store‑based roles.
