National University’s Sanford College of Education (SCOE), Department of ABA, School Psychology, and Educational Counseling (ASPEC), is seeking an Assistant or Associate Professor, or Professor of Practice in Educational Counseling. This is a remote position with no residency requirements. The successful candidate will demonstrate excellence in teaching and scholarship and a commitment to serving a diverse adult student body. The Academic Program Director (APD) leads the strategy, operations, and support for the degree program, acting as the primary spokesperson for faculty and students. The APD ensures program quality, drives student engagement and success, and serves as the lead discipline expert. This role collaborates with program faculty and the Director of Assessment for program evaluation, ensuring the program meets student and industry needs, and accreditation requirements. The APD also works with the Director of Curriculum to incorporate trends into the curriculum and collaborates with College leadership to align the program with University and College goals.
