About The Position

Assist the operator in making ready, maintaining and operating corrugated manufacturing press machine in which you are assigned. This includes rotary die cutters, Flexo folder gluers, labeler and folder gluer machinery. You will observe and monitor machine operations to detect malfunctions and determine if adjustments are needed. Responsibilities include feeding, catching, and stacking corrugated sheets at machine feed and stacking stations. You will oversee and perform order setups, including setting heads, mounting print plates and dies, and maintaining safety, quality, and housekeeping standards. Ensure all orders are completed to specifications, including special instructions. Other duties may include parts and hand assembly as assigned by managers, supervisors, or shift leaders.

Requirements

  • At least one (1) year of experience working in a manufacturing environment
  • Basic computer skills
  • Ability to perform basic arithmetic including additions, subtractions, multiplications, division and use of a tape measure
  • Ability to work in an environment that is often hot in the summer and cool in the winter
  • Light to moderate lifting (up to 50lbs)
  • Ability to stand throughout entire shift
  • Candidates must be available to work overtime & on Saturdays as needed
  • Must be willing to work in an environment that is hot in the summer and cold in the winter

Nice To Haves

  • Experience in the corrugated industry is a plus
