Assistant Operator 1st Shift
About The Position
Responsible for the set up and operation of machines in designated department. This role involves running material through machines according to company specifications, ensuring correct materials are used, and maintaining inventory accuracy. The Assistant Operator is also responsible for inspecting and maintaining product quality, meeting all quality and efficiency standards, and adhering to company safety policies. They will report any concerns related to machine maintenance and may assist in two-man feeds as needed. Duties may be expanded upon and additional duties may be assigned.
Requirements
- Must be 18 years of age.
- Ability to work a flexible schedule
- Ability to read a tape measure with speed and accuracy.
- Ability to work in a fast paced environment.
- Knowledge equipment design and capabilities that can be translated into efficient operation.
- Read and interpret product layout and production specifications.
Nice To Haves
- Manufacturing experience in the corrugated industry preferred.
