About The Position
The Asst Nurse Manager in L&D is a registered nurse who, using critical thinking skills, coordinates the clinical activities within the OB areas and collaborates with other members of the health care team. She/he directly and indirectly supervises the care rendered by all OB service line staff. This individual will be competent to perform in all areas of the L&D Service, to include but not limited to OB ED Nurse, QMP, L&D Nurse, OBOR Circulator, OBOR Scrub and OBOR Orderly (Room Turnover) as required to ensure the smooth operation of the L&D Service as a whole.
Requirements
- Associate Degree
- 2-3 yrs RN experience in Labor & Delivery
- REGISTERED NURSE License
- BLS/CPR (AMERICAN HEART ASSN)
- ACLS (AMERICAN HEART ASSN)
Nice To Haves
- BSN preferred
- NRP (AMERICAN ACADEMY OF PEDIATRICS) WITHIN 90 DAYS
- AWHONN FETAL MONITORING (WITHIN 180 DAYS)
