About The Position

Farmington Hills Hospital is seeking a motivated nurse leader who is passionate about developing teams, delivering exceptional patient care, and driving clinical excellence. As an Assistant Nurse Manager, you will partner with the Nurse Manager to lead daily operations, support team development, and help shape a culture where patients and team members thrive. The Assistant Nurse Manager has responsibility for the effective implementation of the philosophy, goals, policies, and procedures of the hospital and the nursing department and their effect on patient care in the department.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in nursing (BSN) Required.
• Two years of clinical experience Required.
• MI Registered Nurse (RN) Required.
• AHA or ARC Basic Life Support (BLS) Required.

Nice To Haves

• Strong clinical experience in Med Surg, Ortho, Neuro, Trauma, or Progressive Care
• Previous leadership experience as a Charge Nurse, Preceptor, or Assistant Nurse Manager
• A collaborative leadership style with strong coaching and communication skills
• A commitment to quality, patient safety, and team member engagement
• Participation in leadership activities (Unit, hospital, or system Shared Governance meetings, Precepting, Charge nurse role) Preferred.
