About The Position

In an outpatient setting, supports standards of care and providing consultation and expertise in the delivery of patient care. Supports activities at the service, nursing practice, and institutional level, and contributes to goal achievement through personal action and the facilitation of others. They participate in community and professional organizations, demonstrating commitment to the promotion of nursing's visibility and future. Provides expert patient care, serves as a resource, consults as requested, and communicates effectively within the unit and service. They also participate in the management of human resources, the development and evaluation of recruitment and retention strategies, and the monitoring of patient outcomes. May have responsibilities at the unit, program or service level and may assume an expanded role as assigned by leadership. The ANM role is integral to upholding our PCMH model and advancing our quality and process improvement efforts. Under the supervision and guidance of the Nurse Manager, the ANM will support daily clinic operations, including direct clinical time, while also contributing to staff development and regulatory compliance. Provide valuable input and assistance in the preparation and delivery of employee evaluations. Participate in the orientation process for new employees, ensuring a thorough and supportive onboarding experience.

Requirements

  • NYS RN license required
  • Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) required

  • 2 years of previous experience in an outpatient or internal medicine setting is preferred.
