About The Position

The Gastroenterology Division is seeking an Assistant Nurse Manager to oversee clinic operations in a busy and growing department. This role supports the NM in oversight of nurses and techs at Sawgrass GI and AC5 GI clinics, with responsibilities including day-to-day operational support, facilitating efficient patient throughput, optimizing telephone triage workflows, and maintaining clinical competency to support staffing needs. This position is a blend of hands-on patient care with administrative/leadership responsibilities, with allocation determined by staffing and operational needs. The ideal candidate is highly motivated, communicates and collaborates effectively with an interdisciplinary team, and has ambulatory/telephone triage/in-basket experience.

Requirements

RN with current NYS license
BSN
A minimum of 5 years of professional nursing experience required.

Nice To Haves

Prior leadership experience preferred but not required.
Ambulatory/telephone triage/in-basket experience.
