About The Position

This role is for an Assistant Nurse Manager in the ICU at Saint Thomas Midtown in Nashville, TN. The position is full-time, days. The nurse manager will assess daily patient access needs, ensure appropriate patient care, and provide oversight for all aspects of nursing department operations. They will deliver quality patient care, ensure the implementation of clinical objectives, and delegate duties to clinical staff based on their skills and abilities. The role involves collaborating with department leadership to ensure processes are up-to-date, participating in quality initiatives and auditing projects, and developing plans for improvement. Additionally, the Assistant Nurse Manager will be responsible for hiring, training, directing, developing, and evaluating staff.

Requirements

BLS Provider obtained within 1 Month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date required.
American Heart Association or American Red Cross Accepted.
Registered Nurse credentialed from the Tennessee Board of Nursing obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date required.
Required professional licensure/certification AND 1 year of cumulative job specific experience required.
