About The Position

This role involves leading daily clinical operations within the Emergency Department, coordinating associate activities, and optimizing patient flow to ensure safe, efficient, and high-quality emergency care. The position focuses on empowering and developing clinical staff through direct oversight, targeted training, and performance evaluations. It also drives quality improvement initiatives, delegates clinical assignments strategically, and collaborates with department leadership to update and implement clinical processes.

Requirements

  • BLS Provider obtained within 1 Month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date required. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.
  • Registered Nurse credentialed from the Maryland Board of Nursing obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date required.
  • Required professional licensure/certification AND 1 year of cumulative job specific experience required.
  • Proven leadership experience (such as Charge Nurse or Supervisor) within an Emergency Department setting.

  • Collaborate with department leadership to update, streamline, and implement clinical processes that keep the department compliant and cutting-edge.
