About The Position
The assistant manager is a registered nurse who, using critical thinking skills, coordinates the clinical activities within the Adult Emergency Department and collaborates with other members of the health care team. She/he directly and indirectly supervises the care rendered by all emergency service line staff.
Requirements
- Associate Degree, BSN preferred
- 2-3 yrs RN experience in emergency nursing
- REGISTERED NURSE License
- BLS/CPR (AMERICAN HEART ASSN) Certification
- NIHSS 3 CEU COURSE
- ACLS (AMERICAN HEART ASSN)
- CPI (WITHIN 30 DAYS)
- PALS by 12/31/2019. INEXPERIENCED: (WITHIN 180 DAYS OF HIRE OR TRANSFER)
- TNCC by 5/30/2020. INEXPERIENCED: (WITHIN 2 YEARS OF HIRE OR TRANSFER)
