About The Position

Audubon is currently seeking an Assistant NDE Technician to join our team in our Off Site Office. The Assistant NDE Technician will help Advanced and Senior NDE Technicians conduct robust NDE and Materials Verification Inspections for clients, primarily in the midstream pipeline and facility oil and gas industry. In this role, the technicians will be responsible for assisting in setting up and calibrating equipment, conducting NDE and material verification inspections, collecting critical job-site information and data, and generating final report deliverables. Reporting to the Operations Manager.

Requirements

Demonstrated capability to perform the responsibilities of an NDE Technician.
Customer communication skills.
Able to continually define ways to increase customer satisfaction and deepen customer and market relationships.
Eligible to work in the U.S., without sponsorship.
Familiarity with Microsoft Office and Web Based applications.
Able to travel 80%.

Nice To Haves

Pipeline integrity experience preferred.
Training in NDE methods and procedures preferred.
NDE experience in UT and MT NDE methods preferred.
Experience in report writing preferred.
Knowledge of industry codes and standards preferred.

Responsibilities

Maintains a safe, secure, and healthy environment by adhering to Company and Customer safety standards and procedures.
Travel to clients' locations.
Setting up, calibrating, and maintaining NDE equipment.
Conducting robust inspections on pipelines and midstream facilities.
Conducting robust material verification using non-destructive techniques.
Direct assessment and correlation of In Line Inspection (ILI) runs on client assets.
Program development: key team member in continual improvement of service program to include improvement support of procedures and work instructions.
Interpreting inspection results, completing inspection reports, and presenting final deliverables to customers.
Ensures quality standards are achieved.
Read and interpret drawings and schematics.
Assist other technicians in the field, as necessary.
Supports and solicits input and feedback from team members at all levels within the organization.
Works safely and completes all company and client safety daily paperwork.
Must adhere to company and client policies and procedures in their entirety.
Assisting Business Development to identify strategic accounts and play an active role in developing these accounts when applicable.
Other duties as assigned by management.
