About The Position
Propel Schools is seeking an Assistant Middle School Track Coach for the 26-27 season, which is scheduled to begin in April and conclude in May. This position will support the Middle School's track program under the guidance of the head coach, athletic director, and other coaching staff. The role requires a commitment to the Propel Habits and ongoing professional development. The season may end earlier or later depending on postseason participation. This position includes a seasonal stipend of $1,000, prorated for coaches who begin after the official start of the season.
Requirements
- Up-to-date TB Test
- Act 34 Criminal Clearance
- Act 114 FBI Clearance
- Act 151 Child Abuse Clearance
- Mandated Reporter Training
- Prior high school, middle school, and/or youth track coaching experience
- Knowledge of rules, regulations, strategies, and techniques of the sport
- High level of personal organization and planning
- Strong communication and relationship building skills
Nice To Haves
- Student-athlete experience on the high school and/or intercollegiate level
- Prior middle school coaching experience
- USATF certification
Responsibilities
