About The Position

We are seeking an experienced Assistant Merchandiser who thrives in a fast-paced environment and remains calm under pressure. This is a newly created role designed to strengthen our Buying and Merchandising function and support the delivery of commercial targets across 7 retail stores and our e-commerce platform. You will play a key role in supporting the Buying team by ensuring trade performance stays on track. This will involve analysing sales performance, managing stock cover and sell-through, and closely monitoring forecasting, intake, and replenishment. The position will also contribute to the seasonal buy plan and ongoing management of the open-to-buy budget. Reporting to the Buying and Merchandising Manager, you will act as a key link between teams, ensuring efficient stock flow and supporting commercial decision-making. Your work will directly contribute to maximising sales, protecting margin, and enhancing the overall customer experience.

Responsibilities

Analyse sales, stock, and performance data to identify trends and opportunities
Monitor stock cover, intake, and replenishment to maintain optimal stock levels
Support forecasting and trading decisions to maximise availability and minimise risk
Assist with seasonal planning and contribute to the buy strategy
Track and manage open-to-buy to ensure alignment with financial targets
Ensure product is in the right place at the right time across all channels
Work collaboratively with Buyers, the Merchandise Assistant, Retail Team Leaders, and Operations
